Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Training Manager to join our team and oversee the training and development programs for our retail staff. The Training Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that our employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service and uphold the brand's standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Training Programs: Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs for retail staff, including new hire orientation, product knowledge training, customer service skills, and sales techniques.
- Product Training: Lead the development and execution of product training initiatives, ensuring that retail staff are knowledgeable about the features, benefits, and uses of our premium products. Collaborate with product managers and vendors to stay updated on product information and updates.
- Training Delivery: Deliver engaging and effective training sessions using a variety of methods, including presentations, workshops, role-playing exercises, and online learning platforms.
- Training Assessment: Assess training needs and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, performance metrics, and observation. Continuously review and update training materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
- Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, providing them with the necessary tools, resources, and support to succeed in their roles.
- Performance Coaching: Provide ongoing coaching and support to retail staff to enhance their performance, address skill gaps, and promote continuous improvement.
- Team Development: Identify high-potential employees and develop personalized development plans to nurture their skills and advance their careers within the organization.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including store managers, HR, and operations, to ensure alignment of training initiatives with business objectives and priorities.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards in all training activities, including safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Training Manager or similar role in the retail industry, preferably within a premium brand.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, customer service principles, and sales techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire audiences of varying backgrounds and levels of experience.
- Demonstrated ability to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs using a variety of methods and technologies.
- Effective leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Certification in training or instructional design (e.g., CPLP, CPTM) is a plus.
