Design and development of transmission systems , including gearboxes, shafts, clutches, and related drivetrain components. Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA V5 . Perform tolerance stack-up analysis, DFMEA, and DVP preparation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including simulation, manufacturing, and testing teams. Communicate with Japanese clients/stakeholders , interpret requirements, and provide technical support in Japanese. Review and manage design changes based on feedback and test results. Prepare technical documentation, reports, and design validation data. Preferred candidate profi le5-10 years of hands-on experience in Transmission or Drivetrain De s ign.Proficiency in CATI A V5 (Part design, Assembly, Drafting, D MU).Strong understanding of mechanical design fundamen t als.Working proficiency in Japanese lang uage (JLPT N3 or above preferr ed).Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with Japanese teams or clie nts.Knowledge of GD&a mp;T, DFM/DFA, and automotive design standa rds.
