Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven PR Sales Director to join our team and drive business growth through strategic partnerships, brand collaborations, and media relations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in PR or advertising sales, with a strong network of contacts in the industry. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a global YT creator's team to elevate her brand presence, secure media coverage, and establish lucrative partnerships.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and maximize business opportunities within the PR and advertising sector.
Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers at PR agencies, advertising firms, and brands to secure partnerships and collaborations.
Pitch the creator's social platform and brand and content offerings to potential clients, emphasizing the unique value proposition and market differentiators.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales collateral, presentations, and proposals tailored to the needs of prospective clients.
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand the company's reach and establish thought leadership in the PR and advertising community.
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive insights, and market developments to inform sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreements in collaboration with the legal and finance teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and profitability goals.
Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, pipeline management, and market insights to senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
Act as a brand ambassador for the 'creator' representing her values, mission, and vision in all client interactions and external communications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
5+ years of experience in PR, advertising, or media sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong network of contacts in the PR and advertising industry, with existing relationships at agencies, brands, and media outlets.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and value propositions in a clear and compelling manner.
Demonstrated negotiation skills, with the ability to build consensus, overcome objections, and close deals effectively.
Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented mindset, capable of identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) preferred.
