WE ARE HIRING FOR A SCHEDULED COMMERCIAL BANK - ESAF SMALL FINANCE BANKKey responsibilities:- Loan processing and disbursement:- Evaluate loan applications and documentation for accuracy and completeness.- Assess the purity, weight, and market value of gold items to determine loan amounts.- Perform credit appraisals and disburse loans according to policy.- Ensure smooth execution of all processes, including data entry, closure, and renewal of accounts.- Customer service:- Provide prompt and high-quality customer service, handling queries both pre- and post-disbursement.- Explain loan terms and conditions to clients.- Build customer relationships and satisfaction.- Sales and marketing:- Promote and sell gold loan products to new and existing customers.- Generate leads from open markets and referrals.- Cross-sell other bank products like savings accounts, mutual funds, or fixed deposits.- Compliance and operations:- Ensure all operations are compliant with internal policies and external regulations.- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and manage file management.- Securely store pledged gold and manage the keys to storage facilities.- Liaise with internal departments and respond to audit findings to ensure zero discrepancies.Required skills and qualifications :- Education: Any Graduate Degree- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a banking or non-banking financial company (NBFC), especially in gold loans, is highly preferred.
