Role Purpose:The Agile Delivery is responsible for ensuring that the scrum teams deliver services to the customer and completes various program management activities according to defined service level commitments and process compliancy guidelines. The role holder is also responsible for proper collaboration among the Scrum Masters and serves as communication liaison between them. The Delivery Lead / Scrum Master will play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of multiple projects within an Agile framework. This individual will be responsible for successful delivery of project, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. The Delivery Lead / Scrum Master will facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Agile DeliverySet up and conduct the tribe-level synchronization and release planning (e.G. supersprint);

Prepare plans,proposals, backlogs by aggregating and analyzing information from Product Owners and Scrum MastersHold regular ceremonies for product and squad synchronizationSet up and facilitate Tribe demonstrations and retrospectives Build efficient and reusable front-end abstractions and systemsUse Photoshop and other image editing software to ensure a professional finish to user interfacesLead design and code review meetingsDelivery Lead Responsibilities:Oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.Collaborate with Product Owners, stakeholders, and team members to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely communication with stakeholders.Ensure that the team delivers high-quality products on time and within budget.Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization and team performance enhancement.Collaboration and Communication:Foster a collaborative environment, ensuring effective communication between all team members and stakeholders.Act as a point of contact for external communications and ensure that expectations are aligned between the team and stakeholders.Reporting and Documentation:Maintain and manage Agile project management tools (e.G., Jira, Confluence).Provide regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders.Ensure proper documentation of project requirements, decisions, and outcomes.Processes and proceduresCreate effective documentation processes and ensure usable documentation is crafted for all developed code.Understand the processes and mechanisms involved in running a global retailerEnsure that the development processes and deliverables fulfil the requirements of the merchandising division across all categoriesRemain conscious of the impact of software development lifecycles to business results and strategyHuman Capital Responsibilities Assist with the implementation of the performance management process by setting objectives, monitoring performance, and provide constructive feedback and provide inputs to senior management Provide mentorship for the purpose of developing a continuous talent pipeline for key rolesProvide inputs on training needs and coordinate with the HC department to ensure facilitation of training requirementsDevelop and implement on the job-training for the team Provide inputs for the development of annual manpower plan Ensure the implementation of MAF Retail’s corporate policies and relevant proceduresDefinition of Success Effectiveness of products’ roadmap visionRegular product roadmap updateQualification, Experience & Skills:Minimum Qualifications/educationBachelor’s Degree in related field Master’s Degree in the same field is preferred Scrum CertifiedExperience in a scaled Agile environment (e.G., SAFe).Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices.Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex systems and technical challenges.Minimum experienceMinimum 10 years in the related managerial function Preferably 5+ years in the retail business or closely related industrySkillsAble to manage a large, complex Agile program (groups of projects)Proactively identifies and drives large improvement initiativesDemonstrates ability to facilitate organizational design and changeDemonstrates understanding of leadership motivation and influenceDemonstrates emotional intelligence and persuasive ability in mentoring and conflict resolution Strong Experience in full lifecycle implementation using Agile methodologiesHands on in facilitating the Scrum Ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and Sprint Demos) for multiple scrum teamsExperience in mentoring and grooming Scrum MastersStrong knowledge of CI, CD, TDD and effective pairing Experience as a Coach and/or Consultant to technology organizationsExpert knowledge in planning monthly reviews and planning sessions with multiple scrum teams and respective product stakeholdersWorking experience in Managing project scope, risks, issues, constraints and dependenciesEnglish (Full professional proficiency - Required)Arabic is an advantage
