We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP BW on HANA Specialist to join our dynamic team and contribute to our data management and reporting initiatives.

Job Description :

We are looking for a hands-on Senior SAP BW on HANA Specialist with over 10 years of. experience, including 6-8 years specifically in SAP BW/4 HANA and HANA development. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial reporting requirements, data. flow management, and advanced HANA modeling techniques.

This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to handle complex data integration and reporting tasks.


Key Responsibilities :

Financial Reporting :


- Develop and manage financial reports with complex. requirements, leveraging SAP BW on HANA capabilities.

Data Flow Management :


- Oversee data flows from multiple S4 finance systems, Anaplan planning data, and supply chain planning (IDP) etc.

HANA Modeling :


- Utilize advanced HANA modeling techniques including graphical views, table functions, database procedures, composite row headers, and Calculation Views using SQL scripting.

BW Queries and SAC :


- Create and optimize BW queries and work with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for reporting and data visualization.

ETL Processes :


- Manage ETL processes, including data extraction, transformation and loading


Analysis for Office :


- Use Analysis for Office for data analysis and reporting.

Hierarchy Management :


- Ensure all reporting requirements are met using appropriate hierarchies.

Collaboration :


- Work closely with cross-functional teams including finance, supply chain, and IT to ensure data integrity and alignment with business needs.

Troubleshooting :


- Identify and resolve issues related to data flows, reporting inaccuracies, and performance bottlenecks.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Experience :


- 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BW on HANA, with a focus on financial reporting and data management.

- Experience in SAP BW/4 HANA and HANA development.

Technical Proficiency :


- In-depth knowledge of SAP BW/4 HANA architecture, data modeling, and native HANA modeling using Calculation Views and SQL scripting.

Reporting Tools :


- Proficient in creating and managing BW queries, using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Analysis for Office for reporting.

Financial and Supply Chain Knowledge :


- Strong understanding of financial reporting requirements and supply chain planning processes.

Data Integration :


- Experience with integrating data from S4 finance systems and Anaplan.

Analytical Skills :


- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and deliver actionable insights.

Communication :


- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Education :


- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems.

Plus :


- Finance, or a related field


- Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
