Job Title: Senior SAP ABAP Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join our team at Kooe Private Limited. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom SAP ABAP programs and interfaces across SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP ABAP programs and interfaces across SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, SD, MM, HR).
  • Develop and implement SAP services, including web services, OData, and RESTful APIs to enable seamless integration with external systems.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Create custom enhancements such as user exits, BAdIs, forms (Smart Forms, Adobe Forms), and workflows.
  • Optimize ABAP code for performance, focusing on efficiency in large data processing and scalability.
  • Participate in SAP upgrade projects to ensure compatibility of custom developments with new releases.
  • Conduct unit testing, peer code reviews, and collaborate with testing teams to resolve issues.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshoot existing ABAP solutions.
  • Maintain detailed documentation including technical specifications, test cases, and user manuals.
  • Collaborate with SAP Basis, functional consultants, and security teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Stay current with the latest SAP technologies and recommend innovations where applicable.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development.
  • Expertise in ABAP Objects (OOP) and modern ABAP syntax.
  • Strong experience in writing and consuming SAP services (web services, OData, RESTful APIs).
  • Solid understanding of SAP modules like FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, HR, or others.
  • Hands-on experience in developing custom enhancements using user exits, BAdIs, and the enhancements framework.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP workflows, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and ALV reports.
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori development is a plus.
  • Proven ability to optimize performance and handle large datasets efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a remote environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile or DevOps methodologies in a SAP environment.
