Job Summary:

The Head of Fundraising is responsible for developing and executing the organizations fundraising strategy. This role requires a strategic thinker with a track record of securing significant funding from a variety of sources including individuals, corporates, foundations, and institutional donors.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Leadership

Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with organizational goals.

Lead and grow a high-performing fundraising team.

Work closely with the senior leadership team to integrate fundraising into all aspects of the organization.

Donor Cultivation & Relationship Management

Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with high-value donors, foundations, and corporate partners.

Develop tailored proposals and presentations for prospective funders.

Ensure an excellent donor experience, leading to long-term engagement.

Grants & Institutional Funding

Oversee the identification, application, and reporting for institutional funding opportunities.

Build partnerships with local and international foundations and grant-makers.

Campaigns & Events

Design and implement targeted fundraising campaigns and donor events.

Leverage digital platforms for online fundraising and donor engagement.

Monitoring & Reporting

Track and analyze fundraising performance metrics.

Report regularly to the CEO and Board on progress, risks, and opportunities.
