About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead – SAP to manage end-to-end delivery, support operations, and continuous optimization of SAP systems. The role involves leading the SAP team, aligning solutions with business processes, and supporting the digital transformation journey from ECC to S/4HANA . The ideal candidate is a techno-functional SAP professional with strong leadership, stakeholder management, and hands-on expertise in Finance (FI-CO, TRM, BPC) .


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP delivery operations, support, and optimization across business verticals.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, shared IT, and SAP solution providers for discovery, deployment, and operations management .
  • Translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions; prioritize, plan, and track project deliveries.
  • Oversee SAP project planning & execution , ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Evaluate new SAP solutions, prepare business cases, and drive system enhancements.
  • Ensure seamless integration with non-SAP systems (Governance Tools, Banks, Data Lake, Analytics, VMS, etc.).
  • Lead and coordinate across SAP modules (FI, CO, FM, TRM, PS, MM, SD, DMS, BPC, Basis, GRC ).
  • Facilitate IT audits, compliance management, and SoD controls .
  • Ensure timely ticket resolution, SLA adherence, and vendor performance management .
  • Drive user adoption, change management, and training programs .
  • Manage SAP IT budgets, licensing, security, and upgrade compliance .
  • Document and enforce change control policies & governance procedures .
  • Own system uptime, integrity, performance, and security of SAP landscape.


Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: B.Com / MBA
  • Experience: 10–13 years of SAP ERP experience, including leadership roles.
  • Strong techno-functional expertise with SAP FI-CO, TRM, and BPC modules.
  • Hands-on experience in end-to-end implementations, rollouts, and migration projects .
  • Good understanding of custom development and cross-system integration .
  • Proven stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills .
  • Industry experience in Energy sector preferred.
  • Exposure to Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC) and Treasury & Risk Management (TRM) modules.
