Project Coordinator (Mechanical Engineer)

Trouvay & Cauvin seeks a skilled Project Coordinator to join its back-end operations partner in India, Team Global Consultancy Services (TGCS).

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will support the Project Coordination Manager in executing and monitoring project orders, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Scheduling:
    • Ensure effective project planning and scheduling to meet set deadlines.
  • Project Documentation:
    • Create and maintain accurate project documentation as per client requirements.
  • Project Reports:
    • Prepare detailed project reports as per client's requirements, providing regular updates on project progress and status.

The Project Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for customers and suppliers at the post-order stage, processing orders efficiently and ensuring timely submittal of final dossiers.

Additionally, the role involves maintaining files for allocated orders, generating reports per contract specifications or internal requirements, and working closely with Administrators and Quality Control department.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, such as mechanical engineering.
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position and industry.
  • Knowledge and Skills:
    • Understanding of Sales/Commerce/Trading principles.
    • Familiarity with MTC's, certification, and test reports.
    • Basic understanding of international standards such as API, ASTM, EN.
    • Knowledge of Quality Management practices and processes per ISO9001, ISO18001 & ISO45001.
    • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and drive to succeed.
    • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.

We are looking for a motivated individual who is willing to work in a flexible schedule if required by workload. The position is based in India (Kochi); applicants must be already based in the region or willing to relocate.
