Role Description
This is a contract BIM Coordinator role located in Kochi. The BIM Coordinator will be responsible for BIM Coordination, Architecture, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP), and Project Management tasks on-site.
BIM Coordination, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and Project Management skills
Understanding of Architecture and Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems
Experience in managing construction projects with BIM technology
Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams on-site
Modeling & Model Coordination: Perform modeling tasks , Oversee and manage BIM models from multiple disciplines (Architecture, Structure, MEP) to ensure seamless integration.
Clash Detection: Perform clash detection and coordination using software like Navisworks & Revit.
Standards & Compliance: Ensure adherence to BIM Execution Plans (BEP), company standards, and industry protocols.
Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to resolve design conflicts and improve model accuracy.
Quality Control: Conduct regular model audits and validate data accuracy.
Software & Technology: Utilize BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) and introduce automation tools for efficiency.
Training & Support: Provide training and technical support to project teams on BIM workflows and best practices.
Data Management: Manage model versioning, file sharing, and ensure smooth information exchange.
Project Documentation: Maintain up-to-date records of model revisions, coordination issues, and meeting reports.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in BIM modeling and coordination.
Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and clash detection tools.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
