Responsibilities:
Cutting-Edge Research: Conduct groundbreaking research in a key area of Computer Science, such as:
Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning: Deep learning architectures, natural language processing, computer vision, robotics.
Data Science & Analytics: Big data management, data mining algorithms, predictive modeling, data visualization.
Systems & Networking: High-performance computing, cloud computing, cybersecurity, network protocols.
Theory of Computation: Algorithm design, complexity theory, cryptography, formal methods.
Human-Computer Interaction: User experience design, accessible interfaces, human-robot collaboration.
Software Engineering: Software development methodologies, programming languages, software testing, software architecture.
Inspiring Instruction: Design and deliver engaging undergraduate and graduate courses in computer science. Supervise student research projects, fostering their intellectual growth and professional development.
Collaborative Leadership: Contribute to departmental initiatives, serve on university committees, and actively engage in professional service within the computer science community.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field.
A substantial record of peer-reviewed publications in top-tier journals and conferences.
Proven excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Demonstrated ability to secure external research funding from agencies like NSF, NIH, and industry.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
