Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Leadership:

·        Manage and lead the cutting team, providing training, guidance, and support.

·        Schedule and oversee daily cutting operations to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.

·        Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Production Management:

·        Plan and coordinate cutting schedules to meet production deadlines and customer orders.

·        Ensure accurate cutting of fabrics according to patterns and specifications for hosiery products.

·        Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials, ensuring timely ordering and replenishment.

Quality Control:

·        Implement and maintain strict quality control standards to ensure high-quality cuts.

·        Inspect cut fabric pieces for accuracy and compliance with product specifications.

·        Address and resolve any quality issues promptly, working closely with the quality control team.

Equipment Maintenance:

·        Oversee the maintenance and repair of cutting machinery and equipment.

·        Ensure all equipment is operating safely, efficiently, and in compliance with manufacturer guidelines.

·        Coordinate with the maintenance team for regular inspections and servicing of machinery.

Continuous Improvement:

·        Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize cutting operations.

·        Implement best practices and innovative solutions within the cutting department.

·        Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in cutting technology and techniques.

Qualifications:

Education:

·        High school diploma or equivalent required.

·        Technical or vocational training in textile machinery or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

·        Experience in a cutting or manufacturing environment, in the hosiery industry.

·        Previous supervisory or managerial experience is strongly preferred.

·        Proficiency in operating and maintaining cutting machinery, with specific knowledge of hosiery fabric cutting.

Physical Requirements:

·        Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

·        Capable of lifting and moving heavy rolls of fabric as required.

·        Comfortable working in a noisy and fast-paced factory environment.
