Position: Cardiovascular FEA Engineer

Experience Range: 2 to 5 yrs

Job Location: Bangalore

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days remote)

Position Type: Full-time or 6-month internship-to-hire

Join our medical device team to develop advanced finite element analysis simulations for cardiac devices. Opportunity to impact cardiovascular care through computational modeling.

Role Description:

  • Serve as primary FEA modeling resource for cardiac device-tissue interactions using 3D
  • heart models:
  • Develop complex tissue-device interaction models with nonlinear materials
  • Execute parametric studies across varied anatomies
  • Support validation against experimental data
  • Contribute to in-house cardiac device simulation capabilities

Required Qualifications:

  • MS/PhD in Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering or related field
  • Strong expertise in solid mechanics, particularly nonlinear material behavior, finite
  • deformation and contact
  • Proven analytical skills and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Research experience with published results

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cardiovascular mechanics modeling
  • Proficiency with FEA software (ABAQUS, ANSYS, or similar)
  • Knowledge of hyperelastic/viscoelastic material models
  • Contact mechanics' experience in biological systems
