Position Overview:
We are seeking a Junior Node.js Developer (Fresher) who is eager to learn and grow in the field of backend development. As a Node.js Developer, you will work with a team of experienced developers to build scalable and high-performance web applications and APIs. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in JavaScript and an interest in learning backend technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of web applications and RESTful APIs using Node.js .
Collaborate with the development team to implement backend logic and functionality.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Participate in database design and integration (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Troubleshoot and debug issues in Node.js applications.
Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
Work with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in Node.js development.
Assist with testing and deploying applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Educational Qualification :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent).
Technical Skills :
Good knowledge of JavaScript and basic understanding of ES6 features.
Familiarity with Node.js and its core modules.
Basic understanding of APIs (REST, HTTP, JSON).
Exposure to Databases (SQL or NoSQL databases like MongoDB).
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git ).
Personal Attributes :
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Problem-solving attitude with attention to detail.
Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Nice to Have :
Experience or familiarity with web frameworks like Express.js . React.js
Understanding of asynchronous programming and callback functions .
Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Exposure to unit testing or TDD (Test-Driven Development) .
