Role Overview:

As the Head of Training at Thrillophilia, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's training and development initiatives. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive training programs to ensure our team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service and experiences to our customers. You will collaborate closely with various departments to identify training needs, develop relevant content, and continuously enhance our training methodologies to align with the company's goals and values.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement a strategic training plan in alignment with Thrillophilia's business objectives and growth plans.

2. Identify training needs through ongoing assessment and analysis of employee performance, customer feedback, and industry trends.

3. Design, deliver, and evaluate training programs for employees across all levels and departments, including customer service, sales, operations, and leadership.

4. Create engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, and videos, utilizing multimedia tools and technologies.

5. Collaborate with subject matter experts and external vendors to develop specialized training content for niche areas such as adventure activities, destination knowledge, and sustainable tourism practices.

6. Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars, both in-person and virtually, to educate employees on product knowledge, customer service standards, and operational procedures.

7. Establish metrics and performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of training programs and track employee progress and proficiency levels.

8. Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to trainers and trainees to ensure continuous improvement and skill development.

9. Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and innovative training methods to enhance the effectiveness and relevance of training initiatives.

10. Collaborate with HR and department heads to integrate training objectives into performance management processes, talent development plans, and succession planning efforts.


Qualifications:


- Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in training and development, preferably in the travel, hospitality, or adventure tourism industry.

- Proven track record of designing and delivering effective training programs that drive performance improvement and employee engagement.

- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training evaluation techniques.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.

- Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS), multimedia authoring tools, and other e-learning platforms.

- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to lead a team, influence stakeholders, and drive change within the organization.

- Passion for travel, adventure, and experiential learning, with a commitment to promoting sustainable tourism practices.
