Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with specialized expertise in Snowflake to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional SQL skills, coupled with experience in DBT and Fivetran. This role involves designing and implementing scalable data pipelines, optimizing performance within Snowflake environments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Architecture & Management:
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, scalable data architectures using Snowflake.
  • Implement best practices for data warehousing, ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Collaborate on the design of data models, schemas, and storage strategies.
  • Data Pipelines & Integration:
  • Develop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines utilizing Snowflake, DBT, and Fivetran to enable seamless data integration from various sources.
  • Automate data loading processes and ensure timely, accurate data availability for business analytics.
  • Optimization & Performance Tuning:
  • Perform advanced query optimizations using SQL for high-performance data retrieval and processing.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize Snowflake workloads to ensure efficient use of cloud resources.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Work closely with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Communicate technical solutions and strategies effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, with a specialization in Snowflake concepts and architecture.
  • Expertise in SQL for complex data queries, transformations, and optimizations.
  • Experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) and Fivetran for building and managing data pipelines.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable data systems.
  • Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Solid knowledge of database design, schema management, and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in teams.
