Job Summary:Carrus Mobility is looking for a talented and experienced

CAD Engineer

to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in designing, modeling, and validating mechanical systems, with a keen eye for detail and precision. This role involves working on cutting-edge projects, including advanced cold-chain logistics solutions and sustainable mobility innovations.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development

Create and modify

3D models and detailed drawings

using software like

SolidWorks, CATIA, and AutoCAD .Develop high-precision designs for mechanical and structural components, ensuring compliance with engineering standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs for performance, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.Prototyping & Validation

Work on prototype development and testing to validate design feasibility.Perform

stress analysis, thermal analysis, and other simulations

to optimize mechanical designs.Identify and resolve design inconsistencies or inefficiencies.Documentation & Reporting

Prepare technical documentation, including

design specifications, part lists, and assembly instructions .Generate detailed reports to communicate progress and findings to stakeholders.Continuous Improvement

Research and implement

state-of-the-art CAD techniques

and tools to enhance design capabilities.Identify areas for improvement in current designs and propose innovative solutions.

Skills and Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in

Mechanical Engineering

or

Aerospace Engineering .Experience

2+ years of hands-on experience

in CAD design, preferably in industrial, automotive, or mobility-related projects.Technical Skills

Proficiency in

SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD , or equivalent CAD tools.Experience with

finite element analysis (FEA)

and other simulation techniques.Knowledge of

materials and manufacturing processes .Strong understanding of

GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)

principles.Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality designs.Preferred

Experience in cold-chain logistics, automotive, or aerospace sectors.Certifications in advanced CAD tools or related areas.Knowledge of standards like

ASME, ISHRAE, ASHRAE, BIS, ISO, or DIN .
