Work exp: 6+ years Location : Pune Skills: Systems / Interface Designer (Senior Developer) Job Description: Oracle OSM , OSM development,pl/Sql , unix shell script , java , network knowledge of enterprise domain , Weblogic. Oracle OSM Developer This role is technical and hands-on, requiring deep expertise in OSM functionality and system integrations. Responsibilities Design and development: Use Oracle Design Studio to create and configure OSM cartridges, including Order Fulfillment, Order Transformation, and Order Decomposition. Orchestration and modeling: Define and develop order orchestration plans, order lifecycle processes, and data models to manage the order flow. System integration: Integrate OSM with other systems, such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Billing and Revenue Management (BRM), using web services (SOAP/REST), JMS, and other technologies. Coding and scripting: Implement automated tasks and extensions using Java, XML, XQuery, XSLT, and PL/SQL. Testing and troubleshooting: Perform unit testing, support quality assurance, and resolve issues in development and production environments. Deployment: Package and deploy OSM cartridges and manage application releases. Required skills and qualifications Technical expertise: Strong experience with Oracle OSM versions, Oracle Web Logic Server, Java/J2 EE, and database technologies (RDBMS/SQL). Domain knowledge: A solid understanding of the telecom Operations Support System/Business Support System (OSS/BSS) stack and related concepts like e TOM. Scripting and tools: Proficiency in XML, XQuery, XSLT, and shell scripting. Problem-solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to debug and resolve complex system issues. Oracle OSM Consultant This role is more client-facing, blending technical implementation skills with strong business analysis and communication. A consultant assesses business needs and then designs and implements solutions. Responsibilities Requirement analysis: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and perform fit-gap analysis. Solution design: Translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical designs (HLD/LLD) and system specifications. Implementation and configuration: Configure, test, and tune the OSM system and other components of the Oracle Communications stack (e.g., RODOD, RSDOD). Customer engagement: Lead client workshops, manage conference room pilots (CRPs), and conduct user training. Project management: Assist in managing project scope, timelines, and risks. Guidance and support: Provide technical guidance to project teams and support post-deployment activities.
