Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Client Relations:Build and maintain strong relationships with bookshops, wholesalers, schools, and libraries.
  • Promotions & Marketing:Promote and sell books (print and digital) to buyers and institutions, increasing brand awareness.
  • Market Analysis:Stay informed about industry developments, market trends, and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Product Knowledge:Possess deep knowledge of current literary trends, new releases, and popular titles to make informed recommendations and presentations.
  • Sales & Reporting:Meet individual and team sales targets by preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Events & Networking:Attend industry trade shows, events, and promotional activities to network and build customer engagement.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with sales, marketing, and publishing teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies.

Required & Preferred Qualifications

  • Education:A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is often required, though strong sales experience can be an alternative.
  • Experience:Previous experience in sales, publishing, or a related industry is a significant plus.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets.
  • Deep passion for books and literature is highly valued.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
