Our client is a multi-country business engaged primarily in farming, sourcing, production and packing of herbs, spices, and botanical for B2B and retail customers primarily in developed countries. Their entire value chain is geared towards sustainable, ethical, and safe sourcing and production.

Job Description

Developing and implementing long-term operational strategies that will align with the client's overall goal and objectivesOverseeing local quality teams in each manufacturing location to train, motivate and empower them to achieve consistently high food-safety and quality standardsIdentifying potential risks and creating mitigation plansInvestigating complaints and non-compliance and implement strong preventive measuresCollaborating with the client's Global quality team leaders based in Europe to identify and implement best practicesExpanding scope and performance of our client's NABL accredited laboratory in CoimbatoreDesigning and implementing a quality management system that ensures consistent quality throughout the manufacturing processProviding visionary leadership to all departments, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence

The Successful Applicant

An ideal candidate will be a Quality functional leader with 10+ years of experience in managing Quality as a function in the retail food space. An incumbent shall understand the importance of Quality parameters at each stage of value chain. Strong foundational knowledge of Quality standards and apex bodies is a must have for this position. This role will require an incumbent to work directly with farmers, hence an incumbent shall be very hands on. Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience is important to be successful in this role.
