PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :


Manage the QA process for purchased finished product and materials sourced as assigned factories. Partner with Sourcing, Supply Chain and Engineering to ensure sourced products and materials meet specifications.

Perform pre-shipment inspections.

Provide onsite support toward commercialization of new production supplier factories as assigned.

Ensure production test plans are executed at assigned supplier factories.

Lead structured problem-solving teams to identify root cause and implement permanent corrective actions in response to quality issues.

Review specific Quality system audit & Ethical Audit CAP as needed.

Decision Making Capabilities (List the three most important decisions made while performing the job).

Determine the compliance of raw materials, work-in-process, and/or finished goods to established component/product specifications.

Determine the appropriate test methods to confirm sourced products perform as intended.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS :

Degree in a technical discipline required; an Engineering discipline is preferred.

At least 5 years’ experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.

Good communication skill in both verbal & written, able to manage onsite communication with factory’s technical & leadership team.

Able to work independence & report to overseas manager

Frequent travel within India.

Travel to Vietnam and other Asia countries.

Knowledge of statistical methods.

Ability to interpret product specifications and drawings.


Exceptional problem-solving abilities required.

Must be fluent in English; Writing, Reading, Speaking.
