Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Testing, Audits, and Sustainability efforts in the Home Textiles sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance, compliance audits, and sustainability initiatives to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance and Testing:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive testing protocols for home textiles.
  • Ensure all products meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee laboratory testing processes, including fabric strength, durability, colorfastness, and safety.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to address quality issues.

Audits and Compliance:

  • Conduct regular audits of manufacturing facilities and suppliers to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Develop and maintain audit schedules, reports, and corrective action plans.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance with local, national, and international standards.
  • Train and mentor staff on compliance and audit procedures.

Sustainability Initiatives:

  • Develop and lead sustainability strategies and initiatives for home textiles.
  • Promote the use of sustainable materials and eco-friendly production processes.
  • Monitor and report on sustainability metrics, including carbon footprint, waste reduction, and water usage.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders to promote sustainable practices.

Leadership and Management:

  • Lead and manage a team of testing, audit, and sustainability professionals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Develop and manage department budgets, resources, and timelines.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance, audits, and sustainability in the textile industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of textile testing methods, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience in conducting audits and implementing corrective actions.
  • Strong understanding of sustainability practices and initiatives in the textile sector.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
