Candidates will work across technical and functional streams to ensure seamlessdeployment, integration, architecture of Temenos and its related modules.The role covers end-to-end activities from requirement gathering to post-go-live support, ensuringefficiency, regulatory compliance, and a superior user experience.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical ResponsibilitiesAs a Temenos Core Banking Consultant, the candidate will provide technical oversight and expertguidance on the configuration and architecture of Temenos modules, ensuring alignment withbusiness objectives, regulatory requirements, and long-term technology strategy. The consultant willanalyse the current-state architecture, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and define the future-statearchitecture to optimize processes, integrations, and system performance. They will design andmanage integrations with internal and external systems using APIs, web services, and interfaceengines, while defining and implementing performance optimization strategies to ensure highavailability, scalability, and reliability. The role includes overseeing version upgrades, patches, andmodule migrations, collaborating with DBAs, infrastructure, and cloud teams to establish robustenvironments, deployment strategies, and security standards.Additionally, consultant will also assist in data migration, mapping legacy data to Temenosstructures, and validating accuracy, lead post-go-live support, incident management, root causeanalysis, and the implementation of automation, batch processing, and advanced reportingworkflows to enhance operational efficiency. Acting as a trusted advisor, the consultant will guidebusiness and IT stakeholders on best practices, continuous improvement, and innovative solutionsto maximize the value of the Temenos Core Banking system.Functional ResponsibilitiesAs a Temenos Core Banking Consultant, the candidate will gather, analyse, and document businessrequirements across multiple banking domains, including retail, loans, deposits, payments, wealth,and treasury. They will map current-state (As-Is) and future-state (To-Be) processes and workflows,ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. The role includesconfiguring Temenos modules per business needs, including parameter setup, product mapping,account rules, and fee structures, and supporting UAT and SIT cycles by developing test scripts andvalidating functionality against business expectations.The consultant will collaborate with business users to define product features, user journeys, andworkflows, and provide functional guidance on integrations with digital channels, paymentnetworks, and third-party systems. They will also support change management activities, delivertraining, and create user guides and documentation. Additionally, the consultant will advise onfunctional technology strategy, helping to align process design and system capabilities with broaderenterprise technology objectives, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related fields. 10–15 years of experience in financial services, with 7–10 years on Temenos modules.Temenos certifications (TLC or module-specific) are preferred. Temenos Certification preferred (Transact Learning Path / TLC / module-specificcertification). Strong functional knowledge of banking products: retail, deposits, loans, payments, wealth,treasury, or structured products. Technical expertise: APIs, web services, interface engines, database management(Oracle/MSSQL), job scheduling, scripting, integration frameworks, system performancetuning, automation, and advanced reporting workflows. Proven experience in end-to-end core banking architecture design and optimization, withthe ability to drive technology strategy. Understanding of banking regulatory frameworks (AML, KYC, Basel, IFRS). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with experience inAgile and Waterfall methodologies.Preferred / Nice to Have Certifications in Temenos modules (Retail, Wealth, TAP, Payments). Experience with cloud deployment (AWS, Azure) or DevOps/CI-CD pipelines. Exposure to digital banking channels and fintech integration. Experience with large-scale banking transformation projects.
