We’re looking for an Principal Analytics Consultan t to join our fast-growing team. This is a hands-on rol e where you’ll leverage advanced data analytics, predictive modelling, and real-world data (RWD) to deliver high-impact outcomes for pharmaceutical companies, healthcare providers, and governments—across Australia and globally .About Us Prospection is a pioneer in healthcare analytics, applying machine learning, predictive modelling, and advanced SQL/Python analyti cs to real-world datasets—claims, EMR, registries, and supply chain. From immuno-oncology to hepatitis, our insights have supported 70+ therapy areas worldwi d e.What You’ll Do Support the full lifecy cle of pharmaceutical products—from development to market launch and post-market monitoring—using advanced analytics to uncover key trends and opportuniti es. Conduct market sizing, cohort analysis, risk stratification, and KPI modell ing to inform product and marketing strategi es. Build and optimise automated data pipeli nes (e.g., in Dataiku) to improve reporting efficiency and deliver faster insigh ts. Develop and present interactive dashboards, visualisations, and executive presentati ons to communicate findings to stakeholde rs. Partner with Product and Sales teams to translate analytical insights into scalable, productised soluti ons that align with our platform visi on. Collaborate with regional analytics teams, sharing best practices in predictive modelling, machine learning, and advanced SQL query ing to ensure consistent quality and innovati on. Mentor junior team members, promoting analytical excellence and knowledge shari ng.Essential Crit eria5+ years’ experi ence in commercial Patient Analytics, commercial data analytics, data science, or advanced manipulation and interpretation of real-world healthcare datas ets. Proven expertise in SQL (advanced joins, window functions, aggregati ons), Py thon (Num Py, Pandas, Scikit-learn, XGBoost), and data visualisation tools (Power BI, Excel VBA/Macros, Power Q ue ry). Strong background in healthcare analy tics using datasets from providers such as IQVIA, OPTUM, and KO M ODO. Experience with predictive modelling, machine learning, risk stratification, and product uptake forecas t ing. Skilled in dashboard development, storytelling, and executive-level presentat i ons. Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Health Econo mi cs).
