This is a hands-on role where you’ll leverage advanced data analytics, predictive modelling, and real-world data (RWD) to deliver high-impact outcomes for pharmaceutical companies, healthcare providers, and governments—across Australia and globally.About UsProspection is a pioneer in healthcare analytics, applying machine learning, predictive modelling, and advanced SQL/Python analytics to real-world datasets—claims, EMR, registries, and supply chain. From immuno-oncology to hepatitis, our insights have supported 70+ therapy areas worldwide.What You’ll DoSupport the full lifecycle of pharmaceutical products—from development to market launch and post-market monitoring—using advanced analytics to uncover key trends and opportunities.Conduct market sizing, cohort analysis, risk stratification, and KPI modelling to inform product and marketing strategies.Build and optimise automated data pipelines (e.g., in Dataiku) to improve reporting efficiency and deliver faster insights.Develop and present interactive dashboards, visualisations, and executive presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.Partner with Product and Sales teams to translate analytical insights into scalable, productised solutions that align with our platform vision.Collaborate with regional analytics teams, sharing best practices in predictive modelling, machine learning, and advanced SQL querying to ensure consistent quality and innovation.Mentor junior team members, promoting analytical excellence and knowledge sharing.Essential Criteria5+ years’ experience in commercial Patient Analytics, commercial data analytics, data science, or advanced manipulation and interpretation of real-world healthcare datasets.Proven expertise in SQL (advanced joins, window functions, aggregations), Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, XGBoost), and data visualisation tools (Power BI, Excel VBA/Macros, Power Query).Strong background in healthcare analytics using datasets from providers such as IQVIA, OPTUM, and KOMODO.Experience with predictive modelling, machine learning, risk stratification, and product uptake forecasting.Skilled in dashboard development, storytelling, and executive-level presentations.Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Health Economics).Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analytics into actionable business recommendations.Why Join Prospection?Impact: Work on projects that improve healthcare delivery and patient outcomes globally.Growth: Be part of a rapidly scaling company with career advancement opportunities.Culture: Join a collaborative, mission-driven team passionate about healthcare and data.Learning: Access professional development, mentorship, and exposure to advanced analytics technologies.If you’re ready to use your skills in SQL, Python, predictive modelling, and healthcare data analytics to make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.
