About the role


As a Business Analyst, you will help shape slice's credit and business strategies by combining your product and business acumen and data driven insights. Being a key member of the team, you’ll work closely with leadership, credit, and product teams to craft and execute analytics-driven strategies for business growth. We know these are a lot of heavy words we just wrote, but as they say “bigger the risk, bigger the rewards".


What You will do


  • Drive the bank's liquidity management, ensuring it fulfills regulatory obligations and aligns with internal risk goals.
  • Analyze and report on market risk exposures using Value-at-Risk (VaR) models, focusing on interest rate and currency risk.
  • Seamlessly integrate risk perspectives into financial forecasts and plans alongside the FP&A team.
  • Harness SQL and Python to decode complex datasets, providing insights into liquidity and market risks.
  • Craft and deliver in-depth reports on risk metrics and emerging trends to inform and guide senior management decisions.
  • Drive compliance by integrating the latest regulatory standards and best practices into risk management protocols.


What you will need


  • Experience: At least 2 years in FP&A or Liquidity and Market risk roles within banking.
  • Proficient in SQL and Python for data analysis and automation.
  • Extensive knowledge of banking systems, financial solutions, and sophisticated risk management practices.
  • Proven expertise in analyzing complex data to uncover actionable insights and drive strategic solutions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and effective presentation of complex risk concepts to stakeholders.
