Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day factory operations, ensuring smooth workflow across all departments.
  • Plan, monitor, and control production to meet deadlines, quality standards, and cost targets.
  • Manage workforce allocation, attendance, and productivity.
  • Coordinate with merchandising, sourcing, and quality teams for timely order execution.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, safety norms, and labor laws.
  • Maintain machinery, infrastructure, and ensure preventive maintenance.
  • Implement best practices to improve efficiency and reduce wastage.
  • Train, mentor, and lead supervisors and line managers.
  • Prepare and present reports on production, efficiency, and costs to management.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in garment manufacturing (preferably knitwear).
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and factory operations.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Ability to handle large teams and multiple production lines.
  • Good problem-solving, planning, and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of compliance, audits, and industry regulations.
