Company Description
Aston Processors Limited is a renowned metal recycling company located in Mumbai. We specialize in the processing, trading, and distribution of a wide range of goods, including Non-ferrous Metals such as Copper and Aluminium. We manufacture high-grade Copper continuous casting rods which has uniform electrical conductivity more than 100 and fine drawing performance till 0.15 mm.
We recycle various grades of metal scraps and some of the products include ICWs (Copper Wire scrap with copper content more than 50%), ACSR, Aluminium Talk (Radiators scrap ACRs), Armoured Cable, URDs (Underground Cables Twang), Copper (Mil Berry, Candy, Birch, Clove & Cobra).
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Operations Manager. The Senior Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing a team, ensuring smooth documentation process.
Calculates duties, tariffs, price conversions, weight, and volume of goods imported.
Oversees preparation of documents such as letters of credit, filing tariffs, bills of lading, license agreements, and other correspondence; coordinates other paperwork and documentation necessary to comply with tariffs and customs regulations.
Serves as a liaison between agents, brokers, banks, shippers, and warehouse facilities.
Expedites shipping of goods into and out of the country.
Resolves customs delays.
Qualifications
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proven experience in operations management
Knowledge of metal recycling processes and industry trends
Ability to analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Experience in managing teams and driving performance
Proficiency in relevant software and tools
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (preferred)
