We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Superintendent to oversee the nursing services at our hospital. The desired candidate will be responsible for managing nursing staff, ensuring high standards of patient care, and coordinating with other departments to provide comprehensive healthcare services. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent clinical knowledge, and the ability to foster a collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain nursing standards and practices.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and promote a cohesive team environment.
2. Patient Care:
- Ensure that all nursing activities comply with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Oversee patient care plans and ensure they are implemented effectively.
- Monitor patient outcomes and implement improvements as necessary.
3. Staff Development:
- Identify training and development needs for nursing staff and coordinate educational programs.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to nursing staff.
4. Coordination and Collaboration:
- Work closely with other department heads to ensure coordinated and efficient healthcare delivery.
- Participate in hospital administration meetings and contribute to strategic planning.
- Liaise with external organizations and agencies as required.
5. Quality Assurance:
- Implement quality assurance programs to ensure high standards of patient care.
- Monitor compliance with infection control policies and procedures.
- Address and resolve any issues related to nursing care or patient safety.
6. Resource Management:
- Manage the nursing department’s budget and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Oversee the procurement and maintenance of nursing supplies and equipment.
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
M.Sc with 10-15 years of experience, with 5 years experience in Nursing/ Administration and Training.
Should be from Hospital / Healthcare domain
Proficient in English and Telugu
