Job Description
This role requires a proven track record of leading product development teams and delivering innovative solutions.
Lead a team of engineers in the design, development, and implementation of automotive electronics products with a focus on connected features, cloud integration, and telematics. Define product requirements, create technical specifications, and oversee the entire product development life-cycle. Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and testing engineering. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in automotive electronics, connected cars, and cloud computing. Mentor and develop team members to enhance their technical skills and capabilities. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product alignment with business objectives.
The Successful Applicant
An ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of communication protocols, telematics protocols (MQTT), IoT, Wi-Fi,Bluetooth and cloud
Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical/Automotive Engineering, , or a related field. 13-22 years of experience in automotive electronics product development with a strong focus on connected features, cloud, and telematics. In-depth knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, etc.), telematics protocols (MQTT), IoT, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and Bluetooth technologies. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their application in automotive systems. Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
