Import/Export Specialist
Roles and Responsibilities:
·
Lead Customs Clearance of goods at PORTSCoordinating with the CHA's·
Evaluate all requirements to ensure import & export compliance·
SPLiaison with customs authorities, proper EXIM documentation, Compliance etc·
Onward movement of custom cleared goods from bonded warehousesHave good knowledge of Custom Laws and procedures for Cargo and Courier Shipments and HSN Classification with its regulatory requirementsLiaising with Customers & Freight Forwarders and Custom Brokers for the complete custom clearance activities till delivery to end customersAllocating the Documents to the Custom Brokers and follow up with the Customers and Custom Broker for the timely clearanceAble to answer the Custom Query’s independently and able to advise client for the required documentsRequired to be fully conversant with import and export laws and regulations. You will be expected to maintain your understanding and keep up-to-date with changes as they occur, so as to be able to advise customers on import and export restrictions, tariff systems, insurance requirements and all other customs related matters
Basic Qualifications/Eligibility Criteria:
Any UG/PGGood Knowledge of IMPORT and EXPORTHaving Good knowledge of shipping line and airlinesExperience for 2+ years at least into Custom Clearance, Import Clearance, Export Clearance forwarding company (PREFERABLE CHINA)Good Communication SkillsKnowledge for file the quotation
