Job Overview:Team Street is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Fundraising Researcher to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The primary responsibility of this role is to identify and connect with potential foundations, major donors, and other key stakeholders. The role will involve extensive desk research, email outreach, and scheduling meetings, both in-person and virtual, with decision-makers.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough research to identify potential foundations, major donors, and other philanthropic contacts aligned with our partner’s mission and objectives.- Develop and maintain a database of potential donors, including key contact information, areas of interest, and donation history.- Reach out to identified contacts via email with the goal of initiating conversations and setting up meetings.- Schedule and coordinate in-person or virtual meetings with potential donors, ensuring all necessary materials and information are prepared.- Collaborate with the fundraising and communications teams to create compelling outreach materials and presentations for donor engagement.- Track and report on research findings, outreach progress, and meeting outcomes.- Stay informed about trends and developments in philanthropy and donor behaviour, particularly in relation to the partner organisation’s focus areas.- Assist in developing strategies to improve donor engagement and relationship-building efforts.Qualifications:- Fresh graduates with a degree and interest in fundraising/non-profit sector- Basic knowledge of fundraising, donor relations, or nonprofit sector (preferred but not mandatory)- Excellent research skills, with the ability to gather, analyse, and synthesise information from a variety of sources.- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in drafting professional emails and outreach messages.- Basic familiarity in using research tools, databases, and other relevant software tools.- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.- A proactive, self-starting attitude with a keen eye for detail.What We Offer:- A collaborative and supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth.- The chance to contribute to meaningful work that supports grassroots organizations and non-profits.- On-the-job learning and mentorship to help you build new skills and gain hands-on experience.- Fair compensation as per industry standards.- Flexibility in work hours.
