Overview:
InvestCloud is looking for high-performing Quality Analysts to join our product engineering team. This position is for self-starters motivated to play a crucial role in the delivery of innovative financial products by implementing testing frameworks to support the product engineerings quality assurance program. The Quality Analyst serves as an expert on testing frameworks and provides technical support.

This role is an exciting opportunity that has great career growth potential in a growing and fast-paced culture technology firm that provides solutions to the financial services sector, specifically covering the full spectrum of Wealth and Asset Management businesses.

Candidates will work in the InvestCloud office four days per week and work one day remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Requirement analysis and validation collaborating with product managers, product owners, product architects, and business analysts to thoroughly understand business and technical requirements.
  • Test plan and strategy translate requirements into detailed test plans including test scope, objectives, and test scenarios, identify potential gaps or inconsistencies in requirements early in the development process.
  • Write test cases, covering both functional and non-functional requirements. as well as test data generation to support test cases.
  • Review quality metrics to measure test effectiveness and product readiness.
  • Validate the results of automated tests to ensure accuracy.
  • Track defects through tools like JIRA, ensuring resolution aligns with release timelines.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Bachelors degree in computer technology or similar program from an accredited university.
  • 3-5 years of testing experience with test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, SpecFlow, Mabl, Cypress, etc, ideally within financial, banking or software companies.
  • Basic understanding of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
  • Familiarity with SQL for database validation and testing.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Experience delivering projects using JIRA for planning and reporting.
