Associate Vice President (Insights, Intelligence and Advisory Role) Axience is seeking talented professionals with 4-8 years of relevant experience to join our Research and Consulting team Full-time position based in Mumbai (India) (fully work from office) Core Responsibilities Support large and medium size corporates across key sectors, strategy consulting and intelligence firms and other clients o Work on primary research, secondary research and other Axience comprehensive insight, intelligence and advisory related research processes o Support strategy and corporate development, commercial / brand and competitive / markets intelligence / insight functions of highly reputable and demanding clients o Produce competitive deep dives and profiles, highly analytical newsletters, event analysis and dashboards across key markets and diverse sectors / industries o Understand research objectives, design partial or full research strategies, interpret and analyze and present information for accuracy, exhaustiveness, and applicability Take responsibility for end-to-end execution of projects with low levels of supervision required (although experienced team managers are always available for guidance)  This role also provides an opportunity to work on financial research projects from time to time and develop financial analysis skills providing an opportunity for well-rounded skill development Support inside sales, pre-sales and business development operations related to industry part of the role and beyond A Senior Consultant / Associate Vice President will be exclusively responsible for all ongoing and pilot projects (existing and new) for one or more accounts in Research and Consulting vertical and possibly in other verticals too Will play a key role (if not exclusive lead role) in complex, client engaging ad-hoc projects related to business / market / competitive assessment and intelligence Should have at least 4-8 years of experience working on various projects in multiple sectors and have supported Corporates / Professional Services / Investment Management clients Will lead anywhere between one to four accounts based on size and importance of accounts, experience and seniority of account lead and other factors and work time to time on other accounts and initiatives Should have a customer centric mind over and above delivery centric approach and engage directly with senior management of the firm and act as an interface between delivery team and management as directed and needed Expected to manage multiple team members while being individual contributors and engagements and contribute significantly to firm building activities and typically have 4+ years of progressive, top-quality experience with demonstrable skill sets Desired Academic and Professional Background Top-tier academic performance is essential, supported by strong education, internships and exposures o MBA / Engineering graduates from Tier 1 or equivalent Indian institutes, OR o Top international universities with strong research credentials o Those with an Engineering plus MBA would be given higher priority Senior Consultant / Associate Vice President needs to have 4-8 years of prior experience in strategy consulting, competitive intelligence, or market intelligence at top consulting / research firms o Prior work experience with captives of management consulting firms is a plus o Relevant international experience would be given higher priority  Required Skills & Attributes Highly entrepreneurial, inquisitive, and analytical mindset Ability to research skills Exposure to strategy, market intelligence, or competitive analysis is mandatory Understanding financial concepts and exposure of financial analysis is a must Advanced skills in Excel,
