What does the Salesforce Developer do?

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Salesforce Developer with a minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Salesforce solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our CRM capabilities.

What does your day look like as a Salesforce Developer at Value Health Inc?

Salesforce Development:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning components, Omni Scripts, FlexCards and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with senior developers to ensure the scalability and maintainability of Salesforce applications.
• Support developers with technical questions and unblock them when needed.
• Perform regular code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Participate in technical grooming and estimation

Customization and Configuration:

• Customize Salesforce to meet business requirements through the creation of custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and process builder flows.
• Configure user profiles, roles, permission sets, and sharing rules.

Integration:

• Participate in the integration of Salesforce with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless data flow between Salesforce and other applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of driving end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience.
• Proficient in Apex, Lightning components, and Salesforce configuration.
• Experience in Omni Script & Flex cards is added advantage.
• Experience with Salesforce Lightning Web Components is must.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data model and security model.
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge in Healthcare landscape is an addon.
