Nikon India is hiring for Application Engineer with 4-5 years of experience in Healthcare (Microscopy) division for Gurgaon Location. 
The Life Science Applications Post is responsible for the training and support of customers on
High end Microscopy systems like laser scanning confocal microscopy / TIRF/2-photon /Spinning disk Confocal /Super Resolution Microscopy instruments. Interested candidates can share their resume at 

Qualification Required:
- Preferably Ph.D. in Neuroscience, cell Biology, Biochemistry, Bio photonics, Biophysics or Physics

Job Description:
-

  • Provide technical support and training on all laser-based microscopy products over the telephone/online and in person.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through timely resolution of issues.
  • Handling various technical discussions along with sales team .
  • Ability to support installations and upgrade systems in the field .
  • Participate in various conferences /workshops to represent company by giving technical lectures /support .

Collect and convey application information through interactions with customers/researchers and provide detailed feedback to product management and engineering team

Specialized Knowledge & Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of light microscopy and digital imaging including, but not limited to, fluorescence microscopy, confocal microscopy, and nonlinear microscopy.
  • Knowledge of biomedical imaging protocols used in advanced research
  • Understanding of optical principles including lenses, filters, mirrors, fiber optics, and lasers (CW and Ultrafast).
  • Understanding of biological systems.
  • Experience providing technical support and education on advanced imaging equipment and scientific applications
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Should have strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills
