Project Site Engineers

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a Civil and Mechanical Site Engineers to oversee and manage civil construction activities for ash handling systems. The candidate must be capable of planning and mobilizing manpower and materials, coordinating with clients to push for work fronts and payments, and ensuring smooth project execution across multiple sites.

1. Site Engineer Civil (2 Positions)

Role Summary:

Responsible for supervising civil works related to ash handling systems at project sites, including foundations, RCC structures, buildings, and ancillary works. Will ensure quality, schedule adherence, and coordination with mechanical and electrical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise civil construction activities for ash handling plant structures (silos, pump houses, transfer points, pipe racks, etc.).
• Review drawings and provide site-level clarifications to contractors.
• Ensure adherence to design, specifications, and safety standards.
• Monitor contractor performance and progress as per schedule.
• Conduct quality checks for concreting, reinforcement, shuttering, and finishing.
• Prepare site progress reports and coordinate with HO/project team.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and third-party inspectors.

Qualifications & Experience:

• B.E./Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 3–7 years' experience in power plant / heavy industrial civil works.
• Knowledge of foundation design and construction methods.
• Strong site supervision, contractor management, and reporting skills.

1. Site Engineer – Mechanical (2 Positions)

Role Summary:

Responsible for erection, alignment, and commissioning support of ash handling mechanical systems at project sites. Will coordinate installation with civil, electrical, and instrumentation teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise erection of ash handling equipment (pumps, silos, pressure vessels, valves, pipelines, compressors, etc.).
• Verify equipment foundation readiness and interface with civil team.
• Ensure correct installation, alignment, and welding/fabrication quality.
• Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for technical clarifications.
• Monitor site progress, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure schedule adherence.
• Maintain site records, material consumption logs, and progress reports.
• Support testing, commissioning, and performance trials of ash systems.

Qualifications & Experience:

• B.E./Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–7 years' experience in erection and commissioning of ash/coal handling systems or heavy industrial equipment.
• Good knowledge of pumps, pipelines, pneumatic conveying, and bulk handling systems.
• Hands-on approach with ability to manage contractors and labour teams.

Preferred candidate profile

B.E./Diploma in Civil Engineering.

B.E./Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

3–7 years' experience in erection and commissioning of ash/coal handling systems or heavy industrial equipment. /power plant / heavy industrial civil works.
