Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable Python-based applications and microservices.
  • Develop web applications using Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quantitative analysts, traders, and portfolio managers.
  • Integrate internal and external financial data sources and APIs.
  • Build efficient ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure clean and reliable financial data.
  • Ensure best practices in code quality, security, and performance.
  • Participate in the entire SDLC including architecture, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Mentor junior developers and participate in technical discussions and code reviews.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Python development (
    4
  • years preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with Flask / Django / FastAPI.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.
  • REST API development and integration experience.
  • Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design principles.
  • Familiarity with Git and modern version control workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
