We are seeking a skilled Senior Technical Documentation Writer with 5–8 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive, clear, and high-quality documentation for our software products, with a focus on SaaS-based solutions. Your work will be instrumental in enabling our customers to understand and effectively use our products. Experience in the cybersecurity domain is a significant advantage.


Key Responsibilities:

·       Create and maintain various types of technical documentation, including user manuals, guides, reference materials, API documentation, release notes, product videos and online help content.

·       Develop clear and concise documentation that is tailored to different audiences, including end users, developers, and internal teams.

·       Collaborate with product manager, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure accuracy.

·       Gain a deep understanding of the products and services to effectively document their features, functionality, and best practices.

·       Stay up-to-date with new features and product changes to update documentation accordingly.

·       Review and edit existing documentation to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy.

·       Apply best practices in technical writing to produce high-quality documentation.

·       Mentor junior writers and guide them in best practices for technical documentation.

·       Review the work of other writers and provide constructive feedback to improve quality and readability.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, developers and QA, to facilitate the documentation process.



Requirements:

·       Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or equivalent technical writing experience.

·       5–8 years of experience in technical writing, preferably within a product-based company and with exposure to SaaS-based products.

·       Strong writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and clarity.

·       Experience working in the cybersecurity domain is a plus.

·       Familiarity with authoring tools and platforms (e.g., Adobe RoboHelp, Markdown, XML).

·       Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and user-friendly manner.

·       Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

·       Mentorship experience, including the ability to guide junior writers and provide constructive feedback.

·       Experience with content management systems (CMS) and version control systems.

·       Knowledge of industry-standard documentation tools and software.

·       Experience with Agile methodologies and product development processes.

·       Familiarity with localization and internationalization of technical content.

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

·       A proactive, innovative mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and emerging technologies.

·       Experience with agile development methodologies and a willingness to embrace and drive continuous improvement.

·       Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
