Job responsibilities : Security System Design : - Develop and implement security measures to safeguard networks and systems, utilizing tools like Axonius for IT asset discovery and Palo Alto XDR for extended detection and response. Monitoring and Analysis : - Continuously monitor security systems for breaches or vulnerabilities using Splunk and CrowdStrike, and analyse security incidents to determine root causes. Incident Response : - Respond to security incidents and breaches, conducting forensic analysis to determine the cause and implementing corrective actions. Risk Assessment : - Perform regular risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential threats, leveraging tools like Rapid7 and Qualys. - Significantly demonstrated knowledge of vulnerability management processes and tools to include scanning patching, hardening, configuration, and risk management - Work with the business units to effectively communicate the risks of identified vulnerabilities and make recommendations on scheduling remediation. - Work with business stakeholders to address vulnerabilities including system patching, deployment of specialized controls, code or infrastructure changes, and changes in development processes. - Identifies and mitigates program risks and issues. - Acts as primary contact for project activities and assist in testing, deployment, planning, etc. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. - 5-7 years in security engineering or SOC operations. - GCIH, OSCP, CEH, or equivalent certifications preferred. - Proficiency with security tools like Axonius, CrowdStrike, Expel (MDR), Palo Alto XDR, Rapid 7, Qualys and Splunk. - Extensive knowledge of computers, operating systems, analytical software, and databases are also required. - Experience with scripting and automation using languages such as Python or PowerShell. - Experience with Information Risk Management and Compliance tasks and knowledge (e.g., asset classification, risk assessments, vulnerability and threat analysis, risk treatment, audit controls and remediation, vendor risk management, and risk monitoring) & reporting. - Demonstrated success in security and vulnerability management within global enterprise environments - Should have Capability to conduct risk analysis, impact analysis, dependencies on customer/internal teams - Willingness to work in 24/7 shifts.
