Your Impact

As a Senior DBA, you'll shape the architecture, reliability, and growth of our data systems — from performance optimization to disaster recovery planning — making sure our databases never miss a beat.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and manage scalable database structures, schemas, indexes, and views.
  • Optimize performance across SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL environments.
  • Implement and enforce security, access controls, and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Design and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Configure and manage high availability (clustering, replication, failover).
  • Automate operations using PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting tools.
  • Perform proactive patching, upgrades, and health monitoring.
  • Plan and execute database scaling to meet future growth.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, incidents, and processes.
  • Generate reports on database performance, incidents, and trends.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, development, and infrastructure teams to align performance with application needs.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 7–10+ years as a DBA in enterprise-scale environments.
  • Expertise in SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • Strong skills in query optimization, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Proven experience with high availability, replication, and disaster recovery.
  • Proficiency in automation scripting and database monitoring tools.
  • Experience with cloud databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS).
  • Familiarity with NoSQL platforms (MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications (Azure DBA, Oracle Certified Professional) preferred.
