in a bank or FinTech in the

Payments Domain

CORE RESPONSIBILITIESUnderstand and review the business requirements and articulate the same into detailed functional specifications, business scenarios and process flowsLiaise directly with business users from the bank and be responsible for end-to-end delivery of the solution scopeLead the Business Analyst stream for the project and provide support during various phases of functional testing. Participate in defect triage, root-cause analysis and query resolutionShowcase the product and impart training to project stakeholdersReview design and testing deliverables to ensure completeness of requirements

PREFERRED SKILLS

PAYMENTS DOMAIN –

MUST HAVEProven experience in end-to-end processing (outward and inward) of electronic payments (domestic and international) across various country/region specific payment schemes –(preferred : US, CanadaOR Europe) for any of the below :High-value paymentsLow-value batch paymentsReal-Time / Instant paymentsRequests-to-PayProven product experience of having worked for at least 1 year on

any of the below processing componentsPayment Initiation Channel - Internet, Mobile, API, Host-to-HostPayment Processing - Pre-processor HUB, Payment Engine / GatewayWorking knowledge of industry standard payment file / message formatsSWIFT MT - 1xx, 2xx, 9xxISO20022 / SWIFT MX - pain.xxx, pacs.xxx, camt.xxx, remt.xxxPayment rail specific clearing formats

BUSINESS ANALYSIS –

MUST HAVEExperience infunctional requirement elicitation and solution designdocumenting use cases/business requirements (BRD), user stories/functional specifications (FSD,FRD), process flow diagrams, interface mapping, UI wireframesproduct fitment, gap analysis, requirement traceabilityreviewing testcase scenariosExperience of working in a complete SDLC - Waterfall and/or Agile modelsProven client interaction and direct participation in client requirement gathering, elicitation, functional solution design and defect triage

SOFT SKILLS –

MUST HAVEExcellent oral and written communication in English and good presentation/training skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office tools – Word, Excel, PowerPoint

OPTIONAL SKILLS –

GOOD to HAVEUnderstanding of core bankingb systemsand Basic technical knowledge of database, APIs, MQAny industry-recognized BA certifications
