JOB SUMMARY

• Working hours: 10 AM IST to 7:30 PM IST

• Location: Chennai, India

• Years of Experience: 5-8 years of Business Analyst Experience.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify areas for improvement, understand business need, specify requirements, and

implement recommendations for increasing effectiveness of current processes.

• Identify and drive agreement of scope with senior stakeholders.

• Leading reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.

• Perform root cause analysis of problems, conduct workshops and work closely with

business users to identify and translate their needs into functional requirement

specifications.

• Facilitation of requirement gathering, requirement walk-through sessions with all

stakeholders.

• Effectively communicating requirements with cross functional teams and management.

• Work closely with technical team during the implementation phase to ensure common

understanding and effective implementation of solution.

• Validate solutions delivered and ensure it is fit for business purpose.

• Drive deliverables to completion within challenging timelines ensuring collaboration and

effective communication with all stakeholders.


MUST HAVE:

• Excellent in documentation, end-user’s training and knowledge transfer.

• Preparing business solution and functional specification documents.

• Defining user Stories, acceptance criteria and ensuring that they meet the definition of

done.

• Skillset to distil complex processes into clear workflow diagrams and/or user interface

wireframes.

• Demonstrate ability to think “outside of the box” and innovate.

• Comfortable challenging the ideas of others.

• Understanding the entire product management lifecycle.

• Assessing the scope of improvement and optimizing the value of the work the development

team performs

• Ability to breakdown any problem into components that can be collaboratively solved.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word.


SHOULD HAVE:

• Excellent technical writing skills, capable of producing high quality documents.

• Substantial experience owning and proactively managing product backlog.

• Exposure to SDLC methodologies, agile (scrum) preferred.

• Knowledge of an agile management tool, e.g., JIRA a benefit
