Payroll & Compliance Manager

Job Responsibilities:
• Understanding of PAN India Payroll and compliance
• Understanding of Compensation & Benefits
• Responsible for the managing the monthly payroll process with 3rd party and ensure accuracy and proper reports for payroll related.
• Conducting regular payroll audits and ensuring compliance with Indian labour laws, tax regulations and statutory requirements..
• Keep abreast of and ensure compliance with upcoming change of statutory ordinance and government requirements.
• Coordinate with inter department to address & resolve compliance related discrepancy.
• Handle employee grievances about salaries as well as other issues.
• Study and adhere to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant laws.
• Preparing of Full & Final settlements for resigned employees.
• Manage certain time bound processes and ensure validation of data to be accurate and truthful i.e., Investments declaration, Form 16s, Tax Returns.
• Overall responsibility for payroll processing and administration.
• Coordinate and prepare for the employee engagement activity as and when required.
• Perform any other HR work areas as and when assigned.
Qualification And Experience:
• 8 years of experience in Payroll & HR compliances
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft Excel functions.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and Labour laws.
• Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking and should be a result-oriented person.
• Proficiency in making timely, effective, ethics-based decisions.
• Must be highly analytical, logical & have a number driven aptitude.
• Should be comfortable and confident to manage internal and external stakeholders.
