Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our digital marketing team. The ideal candidate is to be adept at using advanced data analysis tools to gather, scrutinize, and interpret data, aiding decision-making processes across CRM, ROI, Channel Growth and related Customer Experience (CeX) functions. This role requires a proactive approach to data-driven insights, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex data in an understandable way to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize specialist tools to extract and analyze data from multiple sources within client division, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies.
Generate and regularly update a suite of reports (monthly and ad-hoc) using Excel, PowerBI, PowerPoint, and other relevant platforms to facilitate effective KPI tracking and reporting.
Present complex data in a clear and persuasive manner to marketing and CeX stakeholders, ensuring information is accessible to non-specialists and senior leadership.
Act as a sparring partner in response to one-off data analysis requests, providing expert advice on the application of data science techniques to answer research questions effectively.
Develop and enhance tracking and visualization methodologies, including web and asset tagging, attribution modelling, and opportunity pipeline tracking.
Set up and refine processes and systems to streamline data operations, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in data handling.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 9 years of experience in a data analysis role, with a proven track record of manipulating, analysing, and reporting data.
Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, PiwikPro and PowerPoint, with the ability to create high-quality reports and presentations.
Expertise in data extraction and analysis using specialized tools and software.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex data insights to a varied audience.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Desired Skills:
Experience in web and asset tagging, tracking methodologies, and visualization tools.
Knowledge of data management best practices and latest industry trends.
Experience in a leadership or supervisory role is a plus.
