Job Title: Pricing AnalystWork Mode: Remote/Hybrid/On siteWorking Hours: Aligned with UK time zoneSalary: As per Industry StandardsJob SummaryWe are looking for a Pricing Analyst with 3–5 years of experience to support strategic pricing decisions, revenue optimization, and profitability analysis. You will use a modern data stack centered on Snowflake and dbt to turn raw data into trusted, timely insights. The role involves analyzing market trends, competitor pricing, and sales data to provide actionable recommendations. Candidates must have strong analytical skills, excellent SQL, comfort with BI tools, and the ability to translate complex data into clear business strategies. Candidates with a strong academic pedigree (e.g., IIM/ISB/IIT or top global B-schools) or experience at reputed organizations are preferred.What You’ll Do- Own price and margin analysis across products, services, routes, and regions using Snowflake SQL and BI dashboards.- Build, maintain, and iterate pricing models in dbt (incremental models, tests, documentation) and surface metrics via BI (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).- Monitor competitor pricing, elasticity signals, and promotion performance; recommend price changes and discount guardrails.- Partner with sales, marketing, finance, and operations to align pricing with business goals and inventory or capacity realities.- Support bids and quotations with fast, data-backed scenarios and sensitivity analysis.- Define and track pricing KPIs (realized price, take rate, gross margin, win rate, leakage) with automated Snowflake queries and scheduled reports.- Contribute to data quality, governance, and documentation for pricing data sets and semantic metrics.- Run A/B tests or quasi-experiments on pricing and promotions and share concise, decision-ready summaries.Required Skills & Experience- 3–5 years in pricing, financial analysis, business analytics, or related fields.- Strong SQL with hands-on experience in Snowflake (warehouses, roles, tasks, query tuning, cost awareness).- Practical dbt experience (models, sources, seeds, macros, tests, snapshots, documentation).- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and at least one BI tool: Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.- Solid grasp of pricing concepts: elasticity, willingness to pay, discount governance, contribution margin, unit economics.- Ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.- Experience in ecommerce, logistics, or retail pricing is desirable.Soft Skills- Excellent verbal and written English for collaboration with remote, international teams.- Strong business acumen, structured thinking, and comfort with ambiguity.- Proactive, ownership mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities with clear timelines.Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.- Strong academic background from Tier-1 institutes (e.g., IIM, ISB, IIT or top global B-schools) preferred; candidates with experience at reputed firms (Big 4, top consulting, leading product/tech companies, or well-known startups) are strongly preferred.- Experience with modern ELT and orchestration tools such as Fivetran or Airflow and version control with Git.- Exposure to ERP, CRM, or order management systems and pricing platforms; familiarity with APIs for competitor or market data.- Understanding of statistical or predictive modeling for pricing optimization (e.g., regression, demand curves, basic experimentation).
