The role

As a Senior Resource Analyst in Equiniti Retirement Solutions, you will play a vital role in optimising the allocation and utilisation of the company's most valuable resources – its human talent. Working with the wider Resource Management Team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our professionals are allocated efficiently to support project delivery and overall company success. This role requires a keen understanding of resource management in a professional services environment, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams.

Key responsibilities

Developing and maintaining resource management processes and procedures to ensure optimal resource allocation and utilization. Collaborating with project managers and department heads to gather resource requirements and create resource plans for ongoing and upcoming projects. Monitoring resource utilization and availability, and proactively identifying and addressing any resource constraints or bottlenecks. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of resource allocations, availability, headcount, and utilization. Communicating with stakeholders to provide regular updates on resource allocation status and address any resource-related issues or concerns. Producing and analyzing resource utilization data, presenting to leadership and advising on opportunities for optimization and improvement.  Supporting the Head of Resource Management in developing and implementing strategies to improve resource efficiency and maximize resource utilization. Providing guidance and support to project teams on resource management best practices and procedures. Maintaining accurate skills & certification information for resources and working with senior resource analysts to identify future skills gaps 

Skills and experience:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in Resource Management in a professional services organisation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Stakeholder Management, with the confidence to collaborate confidently with senior leadership. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Knowledge of resource management software and tools, as well as professional services automation (PSA) platforms. Familiarity with project management methodologies commonly used in the professional services industry. Strong organisational and time management abilities. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards. Resilient and proactive with a positive, agile attitude towards changing demands and peaks/troughs in workload.
