Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Manager with a background as a semi-qualified/discontinued CA or an MBA in Finance to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, analysis, and strategic planning within a consulting environment. This role will involve preparing financial statements, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and driving financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Financial Statements:

    • Prepare financial statements in compliance with applicable laws, accounting principles, and standards.

    • Present financial statements to management for finalisation.

  • Maintenance of Books of Accounts:

    • Ensure books of accounts are prepared and maintained as per GAAP and IFRS standards.

    • Maintain general ledgers and reconcile balances.

    • Monitor payables and receivables, ensuring timely payments and collections.

    • Oversee all financial operations, including payments, billing, payroll, and treasury functions.

    • Conduct cash flow analysis and prepare MIS reports.

    • Provide leadership and direction to the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.

  • Compliance and Controls Check System:

    • Ensure internal controls are in place and identify areas for process improvements.

    • Prepare Standard Operating Procedure documents for finance processes.

    • Assess processes and recommend automation to reduce manual intervention.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting:

    • Prepare monthly and annual budgets, engage in discussions with stakeholders, and make necessary forecasts based on statutory and organisational changes.

    • Continuously monitor budgets against actuals and take necessary actions if required.

    • Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes to optimise financial performance and resource allocation.

    • Provide financial recommendations and support for management decisions.

  • Strategic Financial Partnerships:

    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve reporting efficiencies.

    • Mentor and develop team members to build a high-performing finance organisation capable of supporting the company's growth objectives.

Required Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.

  • Strong knowledge of data analysis and MIS reporting.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Dedication and willingness to take on responsibilities and accountability for the organization.

  • Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, and SQL is an added advantage.
