Job Title : Senior Talend Developer

Job Description :


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Talend Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Talend Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using Talend. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and implement robust data integration solutions.

Responsibilities :

ETL Development :

- Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Talend to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the target data warehouse.

- Create efficient and scalable data integration solutions to handle large volumes of data.

Data Modelling :

- Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models.

- Design and implement data models that support business processes and reporting needs.

Performance Optimization :

- Optimize Talend jobs and transformations for performance and efficiency.

- Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of ETL processes to ensure optimal data processing.

Quality Assurance :

- Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.

- Work closely with QA teams to test and validate ETL processes and resolve any issues.

Documentation :

- Create comprehensive technical documentation for ETL processes, data models, and transformations.

- Maintain documentation to facilitate knowledge transfer and future enhancements.

Collaboration :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data analysts, business analysts, and other developers to understand business requirements and deliver effective solutions.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Monitoring and Maintenance :

- Implement monitoring solutions to track the performance and health of ETL processes.

- Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure the stability and reliability of data integration processes.

Stay Current :

- Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in data integration, ETL, and Talend development.

- Continuously enhance skills and share knowledge with the team.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Talend Developer with a focus on ETL development.

- In-depth knowledge of Talend Studio and related components.

- Strong understanding of data modelling concepts and database systems.

- Proficient in SQL and scripting languages.

- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
